The Junior Golf League was brought to life to fill a void in Lawton for junior golfers. The love for golf is a passion that stays with you throughout life and we strive to start that passion at a young age. We hope to create a place where young golfers can learn, have fun and experience golf in an atmosphere dedicated specifically for them. Our children are the future of the game and we hope this league will build the next generation of golfers in our community.
League Director: Marco Gagliardi
Assistant Director: Ashley Gagliardi
Meet the Director: Marco Gagliardi
Marco Gagliardi loves golf and loves kids, so it is only natural that he wanted to start something that would give his kids and other kids their ages a chance to play together and learn the game of golf.
Marco graduated from MacArthur High School in 2004 and played golf at the college level until completing his degree in Business at Cameron University. He was a high school golf coach for five years at Lawton High School and currently coaches at MacArthur. While playing at the local courses, he noticed the lack of children on the golf course. With this realization, he and his wife, Ashley, decided it was time to make a change. This is how LJGL was born.
The Gagliardi’s are parents to three young children. Their two oldest boys share the love of golf and enjoy playing. This will provide a platform not only for his children but all children in the community.
The LJGL would like to give kids a chance to learn, play, love and share the game of golf while earning awards, winning prizes, and building relationships that will last a lifetime.
